If coming to practice for the first time, we ask that you contact us first, either here or through Meetup so that we can be on the lookout for you and can let you know what to expect and if there are any changes to the practice schedule, such as if practice is cancelled because most members are away at a race or because of inclement weather.
We practice on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at two different locations, so you will get to see different sights around both the Charles River and Boston Harbor! See below for more detailed information.
Esplanade - Union Boat Club Boathouse (Tuesdays 6:30-8:30 pm)
We meet at a dock on the Charles River right next to the boathouse. Please add a buffer time of 15 min for parking and walking over.

Parking:
Your best bet would be to try to find street parking, near the corner of Beacon St and Arlington St then walk across the Arthur Fiedler Footbridge to get to the Esplanade.
There are usually spots before 6 pm on Beacon St. Otherwise, you might have to park a little further away or in the Boston Commons parking garage.
Public Transit:
The location is close to Charles/MGH station on the red line and Arlington station on the green line.

We meet at Atlantic Wharf Dock (down the ramp that is next to the lawn at 290 Congress St). Please add a buffer time of 15 min for parking and walking over.

There is street parking if you can find a spot along Congress St, Melcher St, or Summer St (between A St and West Side Dr)
If not, there is a garage beneath 290 Congress St that is $12 after 5 pm and on weekends. Channelside parking lot is $8 in the evenings and $5 on weekends. You can usually also find other ~$9 options in the area if you book in advance with SpotHero or ParkWhiz.

The location is close to South Station on the red line, relatively close to Downtown Crossing on the orange line, and Park Street on the green line.
